The Paisley Feather

I finally caught up and did the last lesson, The Paisley Feather,  in Angela Walters Flora and Fauna Free Motion Machine Quilting challenge.  I think of all the lessons, this one is my favorite!  This time I actually practiced a bit before trying it on the quilt (since last week I wasn't terribly happy with my elongated swirls...). Above you can see my very first practice feather!  Her instructions, in the video below, are SO good!  Just give it a try, if you haven't already - you'll be so impressed with yourself 😁

This just may be my new favorite quilting motif - and it's way easier than it looks!
