The classroom space at Tanque Verde Ranch was wonderful. We were in the Saguaro Room with lots of light, big windows and a nice patio with a beautiful view, perfect for outdoor stitching. We also each had our own table, which we needed, as you can see!
Catching up with friends we met in Santa Fe two years ago!
Sue taught us several different methods of making flowers!
A hand piecing demo
We learned to make Dorset buttons! This one was made by Helen, our table mate, pictured below.
The class is called Indigo Vases, so we were all working on our own version of the same quilt. This completed one was made by Sue Spargo - it is her design and pattern.
This is my Dorset button. This was an intense workshop! I learned a ton!
And had so much fun doing it 😊❤️
